It was Wednesday morning, so its an early start. Bike on the car and off to work. Now this time I've got everything I need. I remembered the towel, and shower gel.
I left work at 4:00pm, got changed, and then off on the bike. All was going OK until I got to Bagshot. Stopped at the traffic lights, then my legs were going round, and I wasn't moving. Great!!! Then it started working. Luckily I managed to get home.
When I got home I took the back wheel off. The hub was knackered. So I'm not going the chance it. I will have to ride the Focus Carbon to work. It will be interesting how much faster I go, compared to the green hack.
Out of the door at 7:00pm to the club handicap. Its a 2 mile run there, but I did not do the handicap.
The Handicap is a 2 x 2.1 mile course were you run against your handicap time. Who ever beats there time by the most wins the handicap.
The reason for not doing the handicap is because it does not fit my training schedule. It will always ends up as a run at race pace. Instead I went for a 7 mile steady run with Jen.
Then it was back home, a quick curry, and bed.
